Özant Dental Clinic (as the “Data Controller” within the meaning of the applicable legislation) attaches great importance to the security and confidentiality of the personal data of its patients, visitors and website users. We take the necessary technical and administrative measures to process and protect your data in accordance with applicable law.

Your personal data is processed by Özant Dental Clinic as the data controller within the scope of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), the relevant healthcare legislation and other applicable regulations. This clarification text has been prepared to inform you transparently about the identity of the data controller, the methods and legal grounds for collecting your personal data, the purposes of processing, potential transfers, retention periods and your rights.

1. Collection, Processing and Purposes of Personal Data

Your personal data may be collected verbally, in writing or electronically through our clinic, website, appointment channels, call/communication channels, WhatsApp, e-mail, online forms, social media accounts and similar channels. Your data may be processed and updated during your relationship with our clinic and may be stored in digital and physical environments.

Identity Information: Name, surname, national identity/passport information, date and place of birth, gender and patient file information.

Contact Information: Address, phone number, e-mail address and other communication details.

2. Persons and Organizations to Whom Personal Data May Be Transferred

Your personal data may be transferred, limited to the purposes above and in accordance with the law, to authorized public institutions and organizations, health authorities, judicial and administrative authorities, Social Security Institution where applicable, private insurance companies, laboratories, imaging centers, dental appliance/aligner manufacturers, suppliers, IT service providers, consultants, lawyers, accountants, auditors and business partners from whom we receive services.

3. Method and Legal Grounds of Collection

Your personal data is collected through automatic or non-automatic methods, verbally, in writing or electronically. The legal grounds include the establishment or performance of a contract, fulfillment of legal obligations, protection of public health, medical diagnosis, treatment and care services, legitimate interests of the data controller and, where required, your explicit consent.

4. Retention Period

Your personal data is retained only for the period required by the purposes set out in this text and by the applicable laws, healthcare legislation, limitation periods and internal retention policies. When the retention period expires, your data is deleted, destroyed or anonymized in accordance with the law.

5. Your Rights Regarding Personal Data
